Harden residents took advantage of the free bone density clinic yesterday conducted by Harden Pharmacy. Rosie Smith conducted heel ultrasound tests, discussed the advantage of weight bearing exercise, Calcium and Vitamin D for the prevention of Osteoporosis. Harden Pharmacy has recently held Hearing and Heart Clinics and will be holding a Diabetes Clinic on 24 August in the store. This will take in testing blood glucose monitors, reviewing medication, risk assessment, dietary advice and product specials. It is all about preventative health care and residents can take advantage of these services provided by the pharmacy if they book early. Staff dressed up, or should I say down for the occasion and they will be able to do it all again for Halloween.
