Belinda Kerrison and Doug Baker at Nimby West.

Doug Baker conducted his second shearing school recently for nine students. Held at Nimby West, Doug said he was very happy with the result. “The student shearers were very keen to learn and they put in a great effort. They all went very well. As this is now an ongoing event, I am looking forward to next year’s school.”

Anyone interested in being a part of next year’s event which happens in June please contact Doug Baker to reserve a spot. Doug said he would like to thank the Alcorn family for the use of the shearing shed, the Sargent family for the sheep and the Harden Education Foundation for the combs, cutters and handpieces.
