Simone
Garielle and Simone Ward are celebrating the change of name for their shop in Neill Street which was formerly Cottage Garden and Collectables to Botanica Romantica. They have expanded their range to include flowers, plants, pots, ornaments for the house and garden, gift ware and a range of clothing which they call “Lost and Found”, leather handbags and hand knits by local residents.
Local products include Cunningar Oils and “I Love Harden” bags, notepads etc., which they designed and distribute through the Harden Post Office, Harden Country Motel and Barnes Emporium and Cafe. These bags make a great gift and can be used for shopping, library or knitting. Local artists John Sherriff’s blue wren pictures are for sale along with Bonnie Maloney’s very tasteful watercolours. Simone said,”I have been visiting Harden for the last 8 years from Canberra.
I love the friendly people in Harden. I am a former public servant and I decided to move out here for good about 12 months ago. I travel to Canberra to attend CIT where I am studying horticulture which will help to compliment the business.” She went on to say that it is nice to be surrounded by beautiful things. Drop in and talk to the friendly team and take a moment to browse around this lovely shop which caters for everyone. Botanica Romantica is now open Sundays 10am -3pm
