A large crowd is expected at the Hilltops extraordinary meeting to be held at the Harden Shire Council Chambers at 530pm tonight. Just one of the issues to be presided over by

Hilltops Administrator Wendy Tuckerman is a dwelling proposed on the Carnbrae property south of Harden.

The purpose of the report is to seek determination on development application (T2016-002) for a dwelling at Lot 77 DP75390, Eulie Road, Harden. ‘Carnbrae’

The report states: The proposal is compatible with the current use of the property. It is considered that there are insufficient grounds to refuse the application on amenity or any other factor under section 79C of the Act as the assessment has shown. Identified issues have been addressed through this report and proposed conditions of consent will act to manage and mitigate potential possible impacts and ensure consistency with relevant standards.

The recommendation is that Council approve Development Application T16-002 for a dwelling on Lot 77 DP753590, Eulie Road, Harden, subject to conditions.

The development is in contrast to the proposed Blantyre Farms piggery slated for a nearby property.
