Former PM and Member for Warringah Tony Abbott MP, with Mick Burns and Kellie Potts at The Terracotta Restaurant in Murrumburrah. Abbott obliged the TTT staff by having a look at the Local Legends book.

Former Prime Minister Tony Abbott passed through the twin towns today as part of the Pollie Pedal ride. Once the most powerful person in Australia and still not far from it, Abbott stopped off with his colleagues in Murrumburrah and made good use of the excellent facilities available at The Terracotta Restaurant, at the intersection of Bathurst and Albury Street.

For nearly 20 years Pollie Pedal has raised over $4 million for charity and this year the ride is supporting Carers Australia.

Mr Abbott was treated to a short history lesson regarding Bill the Bastard and the statue in Murrumburrah, by The Twin Town Times staff, before heading in to several other shops in Murrumburrah and Harden.
