A truck’s fuel tank was compromised on the Jugiong Road on Wednesday night requiring emergency services to attend the scene. The vehicle was struck by an object on the road which resulted in a 4 inch gash to the ‘return’ tank. The mud flap also sustained damage and the truck was parked in Albury Street to assess the damage. Harden Fire and Rescue drained the fuel tank and applied spagsorb to the fuel on the road, allowing it to be absorbed and cleaned up. The truck was moved forward whilst another prime mover towed the trailers from the scene. The truck was then also towed from the scene as it was unable to be driven in its state. No one was injured during the mishap.
