Harden mother of three, Donna Adam, graduated from Charles Sturt University in Wagga Wagga on December 14 at Joyes Hall after four years of study. Donna graduated with a Bachelor of Education (Birth to 5 Years) after studying for four years by distance.
“You didn’t have to leave work or have time away from your family,” said Donna. “There were lots of forums of discussion to support learning.”
In addition to her studies, Donna has worked for nine years in Childcare, and has translated her experience into a new role with Mission Australia’s Brighter Futures Programme.
“I hope to help families rebuild their lives, which is very fulfilling,” she said. “I want to thank Erica Glover, who was very encouraging of me taking on the degree and gave me ongoing support,” said Donna.
Erica attended the graduation ceremony to support both her sister Kate and Donna. Donna’s daughter Coco was also in attendance.
