Well renowned Melbourne artist Charlie Tong will be attending the Murrumburrah Court House this Friday and Saturday January 15 and 16, from 10am – 4pm.
The Harden Murrumburrah Arts Council (HMAC) will be holding their first workshop of 2016. Mary Marsh of Boorowa will also be on hand to coordinate the much sought after work shop. The two days have been so popular that they have sold out quickly with artists coming from Cowra, Wagga, Tumut and Yass. Connie McFadyen said ” There are some very talented people coming from all over the region to see Mr Tong.”
Charlie was an engineer in China, and began painting twelve years ago when he moved to Australia. He has entered art shows frequently since 2002, and won many major prizes including 2010 South Coast Sand and Civil Victor Harbor 2010 Art Show, 2008 Best Painting In Section 1 Rotary Club of Corowa – The Corowa Art Show
