Dorothy Smith, Linda Barry, Lorraine Brown and Gale Curtis will be on hand to help distribute presents for Christmas.

The Harden branches of Anglicare and St Vincent de Paul have collected the many generous gifts left at the Christmas tree at the Bendigo Bank, with one hippopotamus proving to be a big hit already. Dorothy Smith of Anglicare and Linda Barry of St Vincent de Paul collected the gifts on Monday morning, which will now be distributed to children throughout the Harden Shire. Dorothy, Linda, Lorraine Brown from Rotary and Gale Curtis from the Bendigo Bank would like to thank all those who donated gifts to help make Christmas a special time for many children throughout the district. Each donation was asked to have listed the gender and age range of each present, but that was ignored when Dorothy, Linda, Lorraine and Gale all took a shine to lovely blue hippopotamus that someone lovingly donated. Hopefully the toy will bring as much joy to the child who receives it as it did to these four adults. The Christmas tree will remain standing at the Bendigo Bank, and any donations placed there will still be distributed.
