David Grant partook in a naturalisation ceremony At Harden Shire Council Chambers, during Harden Shire Council’s monthly business meeting. His wife Louise was on hand to witness the occasion of David becoming an Australian citizen.
Nubba residents Louise and David Grant attended Harden Shire Councils monthly business meeting on Wednesday with David undertaking a naturalisation ceremony. David was welcomed by Mayor John Horton and General Manager Trevor Drowley before he recited a pledge and the Councillors and the gallery sang the national anthem. David received a certificate and a native plant and made a brief speech centred around his love for the area
David and Louise met in Singapore and the former resident of the United Kingdom is excited at the prospect of continuing his life in the Wallendbeen/Nubba area with Louise, who is the Principal of St Mary’s Primary Catholic School in Young.
