The Bendigo Community Bank, the Harden-Murrumburrah Rotary Club, Anglicare and St Vincent de Paul have joined forces again this year to urge people to help bring joy to children and adults alike this Christmas through the donation of gifts. A Christmas tree has been erected at the Bendigo Bank, and people are encouraged to drop in gifts under the tree to be distributed locally to families and individuals in need by Anglicare and St Vincent de Paul. “Gifts should be marked as to whether they are for a boy or a girl, age range, or for an adult or child,” said Mark O’Connor of the Harden-Murrumburrah Rotary Club. The initiative has been going for over 15 years, and was started by former Harden-Murrumburrah Rotary President, Don McFadyen.
