Jesse James and Terry Ricketts became the 2015 Club Pairs Champions on Saturday holding off a challenge from Rod James and David Bodell.
Terry Ricketts and Jesse James are the 2015 Club Pairs Champions after an easy 18/11 win over Rod James and David Bodell in the final played last Saturday. The close match that was expected did not eventuate, as Terry and Jesse got away to flying start to lead 10/3 at the halfway mark. They increased their lead over the next seven ends to lead 17/7 with four ends to play, making it very difficult for Rod and David to get up from there. They were able to score four shots to Terry and Jesse’s one over the four ends, allowing Terry and Jesse to go on for a comfortable win.
