One of Harden Murrumburrah’s favourite local businesses, Harden Fuel Supplies were completely “Shocked” when they were announced as the 2015 business of the year on Saturday night. The much loved family business made the pages of the Twin Town Times last week after they sponsored the local Twin Town Rodeo to the tune of $5,000. They will grace the pages again after they were recognised by a special panel, as the deserved winner of Business of the Year.
The gathering at The Harden Country Club celebrated the business achievements of the local business community with over 140 guests in attendance. Celebrity Chef Danny Russo, entertained the crowd with his humour and fed the crowd through his culinary skills. He was ably assisted with the help of the Chamber Committee who spent much of the week helping to organise and cook ingredients in to meals.
Peter Joseph of Harden Fuel Supplies said “All we have ever done is try to be good to the town because they support us. Thanks must go to my great staff of Richard, Reuban, Clyde and Kelly Kim and Robyn, we can’t do it without them. we would like to thank the Chamber for their support of us and for Sibelco for being the Major sponsor.”
