The Harden Line Dancers held their annual Christmas in July event at the Harden Bowling Club last Tuesday, with an amazing turn out of senior citizens in attendance. The event, which was held for the senior citizens of the Harden Shire, boasted entertainment, hot finger food, homemade puddings made by Mary Norton-Knight, and gifts for the guests. Residents of the Nursing Home, Day Care and St Lawrence Apartments were also in attendance. Una West of the Harden Line Dancers said that “Everyone was impressed,” by the entertainment on show, which included a parade of period costumes held Margaret Thornhill, and a visit by Mr & Mrs Claus. “We were put off the dance floor,” said Una. “Mr & Mrs Claus were dancing together and Santa’s trousers fell down!” The Harden Line Dancers would like to thank the Harden Bowling Club, the entertainers, and everyone who helped out with the Christmas in July event.
