A Must See Event. Hilarious Entertainment
A rodeo of rhyme: that’s one description of a Gregory North performance. A night of side-splitting hilarity is another. Perhaps the more sedate An Evening of Entertainment, although there is nothing sedate about watching this triple-crown Australian Champion Bush Poet in action. From The Man From Snowy River in 15 different accents to Frackin’Fricker, Greg North takes the audience on a wild ride with characters, situations, satire and word-plays that will leave you gasping for breath. You can’t imagine what he does with sticky tape! The last time Greg North graced the stage in Binalong was last September when, as a judge in the NSW Bush Poetry Championships 2014, he wowed the Saturday night audience as part of the Celebrate Australia Concert. He made such an impression that Binalong Arts Group Inc (affectionately known as BAG) has invited him back for a solo show. Be part of the fun with Greg North in Concert at the Binalong Mechanics Institute (Binalong Hall) on Saturday July 25 at 7.30pm. Tickets (including yummy supper): $25 adults, $20 pension conc, $15 school children, pre-school free. As an added bonus, Greg North will also attend BAG’s bimonthly open mic poetry event, A Brush with Poetry, at the Black Swan Gallery and Wine Bar on Sunday July 26, 1.30 for 2pm. Don’t miss this opportunity to see an entertainer-extraordinaire in full flight. But be prepared… you’ll never think of Clancy of the Overflow in the same way again.
