Murrumburrah-Harden Health Service Nursing Home has achieved re-accreditation through the Australian Aged Care Quality Agency. “The re-accreditation audit was measured against the 44 expected outcomes of the Accreditation Standards and was carried out on the 10th and 11th June this year” said Facility Manager Kerry Lindeman. No recommendations were made by the report, which accredited the Nursing Home for operations for the next 3 years. “This re-accreditation cements our position as a quality provider of aged care services in the region” said Ms Lindeman. “For us, the most important factor in the report is that our residents have indicated they are happy living in the facility and they feel the staff are kind and caring” Ms Lindeman continued. “In fact one part of the report states ‘Observations of staff interactions with residents during the re-accreditation showed warmth, respect and laughter’ which is a credit to our team” Ms Lindeman added. The certificate of re-accreditation will be issued shortly to the facility.
