Harden Chemmart is known as the ‘Well-Being Pharmacy’, one of over 400 Australia wide.

Pharmacist Adam Walsh said, “We wanted to change the way we did pharmacy, from the old way of being out the back to the new way of being out the front. The new design makes the pharmacist more accessible.”

“Services include: free medicine checks and diabetes medicine checks, both of these programs are government funded medication reviews; blood pressure testing; and asthma inhaler device assessment.

“Our Chemmart Pharmacy offers a $20.00 health check, which will be available free on our opening day on the 23rd of December. The health check includes: blood pressure; blood cholesterol; weight including BMI; and blood glucose. We also offer a skin cancer review service.

“We can also perform a sleep apnoea test and supply the machines as well. We are able to provide medical certificates for $20.00. We are only too happy to assist with advice on disease management and products.

“Our Pharmacy is experiencing a major transition from a supply model to a health care destination,” said Adam. “At Chemmart Pharmacy Harden, we are attempting to be a part of that new space and destination in health care.”
