The SES Vehicle (pictured) after the driver had to be freed by cutting the roof off the utility. The accident is reported to have been the result of a low blood sugar level from the driver who suffers from diabetes, and occurred on Wednesday night last week.
A motor vehicle hit another vehicle which had slowed down to turn right off Albury St into Lucan Street on Monday. Both vehicles suffered extensive damage including to the front of the vehicle and the back of the other vehicle. No major injuries were reported at the time.
Wednesday morning a motor cyclist suffered severe lower leg injuries when the rider and a utility collided in front of the mill in Murrumburrah on Albury Street. The male rider was taken by ambulance from the scene for treatment.
A small fire broke out at the Kruger Medical Centre Wednesday around lunch time. The fire is believed to have been lit from a discarded cigarette that when mixed with the windy conditions and temperature ignited a small area of the garden bed. Staff from The Kruger Medical Centre and Harden Pharmacy used fire extinguishers to control the small fire before the fire brigade arrived to complete the mopping up process.
Yesterday’s incident at the Medical Centre capped off a busy week for emergency services including Ambulance, Fire and Rescue and the Police.
