The Twin Town Times received an email on October 23 from a group admitting to a suspected arson attack at the Pepe’s Ducks construction site. The attack occurred two weeks previous to receipt of the email.

“A storm was moving in, and the skies had opened up by the time we reached the site, but without hesitation we decided to act. Incendiary devices were strategically placed and accelerant spread on 3 of their earth destroying machines, and with just a spark, smoke began to fill the sky as we made our departure”.
The police are currently investigating the incident and are calling on people with information to contact Crimestoppers on 1300 333 000.
