Trevor Drowley will draw on 37 years of experience in local government, when he takes up the position of Acting General Manager at the end of November.
Trevor comes from a Chartered Accounting background and said he has been heavily involved in interal auditing during his career.
“Internal auditing gave me a full understanding of the roles and responsibilities of local government. The only other position that gives you that exposure is the General Manager position.”
Trevor has been a General Manager at Cowra, Wallaga Lake CDEP and the Rural Lands Protection Board in the past.
He said “The role of GM is about coordinating a team of councillors and staff together for the common cause of supporting the community. What people have seen of me as Director of Corporate Services will be different to what they will see of me as General Manager due to the varied role.”
