The Under 14 South West Slopes side will play in Blacktown this weekend on October 19 in the Grand Final of the Champion of Champions Series.
8 members of the 15 person side hail from the Harden area with the local girls excited at the prospect of taking out the title. To get through to the final the girls had to take out Marrickville last Saturday.
Nil all at half time Marrickville scored early in the 2nd half before Harden’s Emma Manwaring got the equaliser.
30 seconds from the full time whistle Cootamundra’s Alyssa Armstrong kicked the winner and the U14s went through to the Final.
