Alan and Aisling Byrne with their son Rory after their naturalisation ceremony held at the Harden Shire Council Chambers on September 17.
Alan (Al) arrived in Australia in January 2010 taking up a position with the then Country Energy with Aisling arriving in June 2010. Aisling has been working in radio in Young. Last year the couple were married in Ireland.
Al joked, “Rory became the first ‘Aussie’ in the family when he arrived 9 weeks before our naturalisation ceremony.”
They are happy to be making Australia home and Al said, “Both of our parents have visited Harden and keep in touch by Skype”.
