Local accounting firm, Twomeys, was awarded the National Marketing Innovation Award at Xero’s annual conference, Xerocon, that was held in Sydney in late August.
Xerocon is one of the largest accounting tech conferences in Australia, with over 1300 attendees from the accounting, bookkeeping and financial advice industries.
Ms Erin Adams, Twomeys Xero Specialist and Marketing Manager, represented the firm at the conference and said the award was a pleasant surprise, but it was great reward for the efforts in bring an easy to use, on-line accounting package to small businesses and those who want to better manage their personal affairs.
“At Twomeys we seek to give our client the best through smart, innovative approaches to all we do and having this recognised at a national level is a great honour”. Ms Adams Said.
The award panel looked at all Xero partner firms that did good marketing well, while stepping out and providing unique services that set their firm apart from their competitors, not just in quality but in innovative approach.
“Twomeys is one of the only firms in Australia with an in house Xero Specialist who helps guide clients though the changeover to Xero. Our specialist not only helps with conversions but also with add-ons and ways to improve whole business performance” Ms Adams said.
There are some powerful farming add-ons that will be coming to Xero in the next few months, and some very exciting partnerships with CGU and Telstra which will be of benefit for many small businesses.
“Cloud computing and accounting are growing forces and Xero is leading the way with small business always at the front of its mind.” Adams said.
