Last Thursday, the PSSA Girls Soccer team played against Avalon Public School at Roberts Park. Avalon is a school located on the Northern Beaches of Sydney.
The Avalon girls came out strong and scored an early first goal.
Murrumburrah tried hard in the second half, winning a lot of possession. They had a number of shots but were unlucky not to score.
Avalon scored another goal to secure the win.
The MPS girls should be proud for how far they have come in the competition. They have played with great integrity and sportsmanship while representing the school.
Thank you to Sam Flanery for training and coaching the girls and also Adam Wade for having the ground ready to play on.
