Mayor Chris Manchester was challenged for the position of Mayor of Harden Shire Council at the monthly meeting held tonight, 18th of September, by Councillor John Horton, who went on to win the vote 4 to 2.
Councillor Neil Reid nominated for Deputy unopposed and will make up a new look team.
Newly elected Mayor, Horton said “It is an honour to become Mayor” and thanked the councillors for their support and faith.
He said “I want to at all times keep our community informed and I will insist in transparency in all council matters, I will always welcome relevant and constructive feedback from the community.”
