Isaac Russell took out the Best Apprentice and Trainee Award at the Harden Chamber of Commerce Awards held at the Harden Country Club on September 13.
Isaac said he is currently able to shear approximately 120 to 130 merinos a day or up to 150 Cross Bred sheep each day.
He said it was awesome to win the award, “a big surprise”.
His boss Doug Baker said it was very well deserved, “Isaac went to shearing school at Dubbo and has been working with me for over 5 years. He has never had a sick day and is a very good and reliable worker.”
Isaac is pictured at Nimby south of Harden on Tuesday.
