Alan Jones is one of the nations most popular talkback radio presenters, He’s described by many as the one of the greatest orators and motivational speakers. Alan has the mind and capacity to make complex issues understandable to the largest Breakfast audience in Australia.
It has just been announced that he will be appearing at the Harden District Education Foundation Dinner on the 29th of August this year. Alan will be guest speaker at the Foundation’s major fundraiser and his magnetic wit, intelligence and charisma will no doubt mean that tickets will sell fast when they become available and it will be a night to remember.
Alan’s wide range of talents include speech writing for state politicians as well as Prime Minister Malcolm Fraser in the late 1970s. Jones went on to coach the Wallabies and holds an impressive record of 84 wins from 102 matches in the position. He has also been heavily involved in print media as well as beginning his on air career in 1985.
Jones is known for his widespread charity work. In 2004, he received a Queen’s Birthday Honour of an Officer of the Order of Australia (AO) partly for his service to the media and sports’ administration, but also helping many charities.
