Join us for the eleventh Jugiong Art Exhibition at Jugiong Memorial Hall, 20–22 November 2026. Every artwork is for sale and all proceeds support the maintenance and repair of the historic St John
the Evangelist Catholic Church. Discover a diverse collection of traditional and contemporary works while supporting our creative community.
This year’s featured artist is Jugiong’s own Emma Sheehan. Emma’s practice is marked by a deep appreciation for colour, pattern, textiles, and ceramics. Emma paints energetic still lifes and landscapes through a contemporary lens, transforming ordinary objects into vibrant, harmonious scenes. Influenced by her interior design background, Emma’s art is celebrated for vivid palettes, intuitive composition and a blend of playfulness and refinement. She is passionate about art’s role in the home, believing it adds an essential layer to any interior and that everyone should fill their homes with art.
A highlight is the Young Artists section, showcasing creative works by Jugiong Public School students, a favourite section of the exhibition every year!
Another very special highlight: Emma has also donated a stunning piece titled ‘City Palace Frescos’ for our raffle prize. Tickets are $5.00 and will be available for purchase over the weekend, on our website and at “Curators Collective” which is located upstairs at the Sir George in Jugiong. If you’d like to see the artwork in person it will be on display at Curators Collective until Opening Weekend.
Weekend Festivities:
Kick off the weekend at our Cocktail Party on Friday 20 November, 7pm. Tickets ($60) are available on our website. Don’t miss this fantastic night!
On Saturday and Sunday, you will be able to watch artists-inresidence Emma Sheehan, Brian Allen, and Steph Corkhill-Hyles paint live, as well as a live Q&A with Emma on Saturday morning.
This is a free event and adds a beautiful dynamic to our weekend.
There will also be the unique opportunity to attend lampshade-making courses on Friday and Saturday, hosted by Emma’s mother and ‘Manusu Shades’ owner, Sally Sheehan. These courses will take place in Emma’s studio on her farm, just a short 5-minute drive from Jugiong. You’ll learn how to make your own unique lampshade, choose your size, shape, and fabric on the day. This is a ticketed course with limited spots, so be sure to book early. Tickets available on the exhibition website.
