The 12th Annual Truck and Tractor Show Sunday, 8 March will take place from 9.00pm at the Murrumburrah-Harden Showgrounds.
Class trucks and tractors will be on display alongside working trucks, classic cars, stationary engines.
Visitors will also see market and food stalls.
Roger Kershaw, President of the Truck and Tractor Show Committee, said everything was going well.
“We’ve had a lot of interest,” he said.
“We’ve a few extra things happening in the arena this year.”
A “rewarding show for members”, the event has been pieced together by hard work from members and the committee alike.

“The number of trucks is bigger, and we’ve also joined the cars in the Club now,” Roger said.
“The cars will be in the arena with the trucks in a circle outside the arena; it’s a completely different format from the way it’s happening in the arena.”
There will be plenty of activities available to keep younger children entertained, with a colouring-in competition and a shaded area with a sand pit.
“It will be a new look for the truck and tractor show,” he said.
“Without these events, I don’t think you really have a community. Clubs have traditionally, over the last decade, been doing it harder and harder, particularly since Covid.

It’s become really tough to keep a club functioning, and the more of this sort of thing, the more people stay at home and support it. I’m hoping they will. A bit of a turnaround for the club, we’re hoping, and it will be really good to just see how it all works out and that’ll help guide us with our plans for next year.”
Thankful for the committee, who has helped him as President, Roger said he is very lucky to have such a strong team behind him, included former President, Ken McKay.
“He’s done a terrific job helping on the ground with the organisation of the truck show there,” he said.
“I certainly couldn’t have done it all on my own. They’ve done an absolutely wonderful job with me.
“Priscilla Langfield (Secretary) and Sue McCarthy, our Treasurer, I wouldn’t done the job this well unless I’d have had them there to support me, that’s for sure.”
