The staff at Commonwealth Bank Harden celebrated National Pyjama Day last week by dressing in their pyjamas to work. This fun initiative is a unique way to raise awareness and fundraise for a very good cause.
The Pyjama Day is an effort organised by the Pyjama Foundation, the Pyjama Foundation supports more children in care by empowering them with learning, life skills and confidence to achieve their dreams.

The staff of the bank all chipped in the fundraising effort and encouraged customers to get involved in supporting the cause and ensuring that the Pyjama Foundation can continue to support children. The Foundation shares the importance of its mission, stating.
“Dreams are no good if they remain just dreams.” Here’s how your donations can make a difference. $1673 provides a child in care with their very own Pyjama Angel mentor, who will visit each week, igniting a love for learning. $105 helps the Pyjama Foundation provide two training kits for two Pyjama Angel mentors (a vital kit they need to become a volunteer). $58 secures new educational resources for children in activities, games, puzzles and more, and $32 enables the Pyjama Foundation to provide brand new books for children in care.
