Devils Down Tuskers in Temora

Coach Jack Alcorn crashes over vs the Young Yabbies in a previous season.

The Harden Red Devils continued their perfect start to the 2025 season with a 36-17 win over the Temora Tuskers.

After a competitive first half the Devils were able to show their class and pull away with a comfortable win.

Coach Jack Alcorn was happy with the continuation of the Club’s good form.

“We started off with the ball, and we got the first two tries,” Alcorn said.

“They have been in the comp every year since I can remember and are becoming a stronger and stronger side from the side with their young packs coming through. They’ll definitely be one to watch in the coming years.

“Ollie Monaghan scored one try, and McGeoch got one.“Ollie was playing down on the wing, he’s been playing well there. I think he’s scored one or two tries in every game so far.

“It’s good that he’s here for the season. “Going into the half-time break, the score was 17-10.

“We had three tries and one conversion.

“We kept playing our style of footy and having limited numbers that obviously made things a little bit harder with blokes getting tired and things, but everyone pushed through and we kept to our structure and scored a few more tries.“So far this year, we’ve had three games and won all three.

“They’ve been having some good scores, and they’ve got one more bonus point over us.

“This week we are at home against Grenfell.“Grenfell is currently last on the ladder. Hopefully we can get in to them early and put them to the sword. Kickoff is at 3.15pm at Robert’s Park on Saturday, and if people can get down and watch the Devils that would be advisable.
