Popular local paramedic Stuart Bradshaw and wife Rowena are about to depart from the Twin Towns for Bomaderry which is near Nowra and closer to family on the south coast. Stuart’s last day was Tuesday December 12.

Stuart and Rowena have been in Harden for the past 3 and a half years and have enjoyed their time and made many friends in the area. They came to Harden just six months after they were married and it was one of the best things they could have done according to Stuart. Rowena, a Social Worker has been working in Young with the Marymead organisation and at Young High School.

Stuart said, “Bomaderry has a staff of 25, so it will be a much bigger station. Having family within a closer range will be a great advantage for us.” “We will miss Salt Church which is held at the Op Shop at 4pm on a Sunday and we will miss working with the kids from the Gym”.

Stuart said they would miss their friends but they would return as often as possible.

“I would like to thank all our friends and the twin towns for being so welcoming. We will miss you all dearly. We are excited for the next adventure but sad to leave,” Stuart said. Jo Fenney has returned from the UK and will replace Stuart.

The twin towns would like to wish Stuart and Rowena all the best for the future and thank them for their contribution to the community.
