What a year! 2017 saw the Hilltops Choir formed in January, the building of its repertoire with some challenging pieces and performances on six occasions in Young and district. Musical director Rodney Clancy, with the assistance of our accompanist Stewart Bruce, has encouraged, guided and polished our performances with artistic flare.

To finish off the year, the Hilltops Choir will be singing at the Combined Churches Carols Services this coming Saturday, 16th December at the Uniting Church in Harden. There will be a sausage sizzle from 6 pm onwards followed by the Carols Service at 7.30 pm.

Next year, thanks to a generous grant from the Hilltops Council, we will perform three choruses from the Messiah (by Handel) at an Easter Concert Sunday Afternoon, 18th March, 3 pm at St John’s Anglican Church, Young.

Anyone who would like to sing with us on this occasion is very welcome. It will require a one term fees commitment. We rehearse in the Young Uniting Church Hall on Monday nights, 7.30-9.30 pm. If you love to share the joy of singing, don’t be shy! Come and join us. New members are always welcome. For further enquiries, please contact Tracey Clark (secretary) on 0418 672 622.
