The 3rd annual Harden Fuel Supplies Twin Town Rodeo is nearly upon us and after a hiatus of 10 years the event is going from strength to strength in its 3rd year back. Next Saturday will see a couple of hundred cowboys and cowgirls descend on the Harden Rodeo grounds to fight it out for cash and points in the second last leg for the 2017 season. The rodeo will commence at Midday and could go through to 9pm depending on the number of entries. President Marcus Ashton said, “We should get big entries for the day and being close to the end of the season there will be entrants chasing points for titles. If there are any locals who want to participate they can enter on the day for junior barrel racing and junior steer riding.”

There will be plenty to see and do with various stalls operating on the day including an ice cream truck, clothing including 180 Clothing whilst the Poultry Club is operating the bbq. Marcus will be taking part in the team roping whilst Vice President Zak Leitner will be team roping and steer wrestling along with plenty of others. Sponsors have continued to support the much loved event with Harden Fuel Supplies back on board as the major sponsor this year whilst the after party will be held at the Carrrington Hotel.

A new addition this year will be more shading on the hill with the forecast for nice weather. The committee is driven by a group of young and enthusiastic locals who have delivered the rodeo and will continue to do so for many years to come. Entry to the event is $15 for adults, U18s $5. Family entry is $40 and includes 2 adults and 3 children. Get along to the 2017 3rd annual Harden Fuel Supplies Twin Town Rodeo. A family day not to be missed.
