“Spectacular” is the only word to describe the Winter Wonderland at the home of Norm and Joan Porter which will be open to the public on two weekends in December. It is an absolute jaw dropping experience and not just for the little people in the family. If you are not in the Christmas spirit, this experience is guaranteed to put you well and truly in the mood. It has to be seen to be believed.

Norm and Joan made their home in Harden after retailing Christmas decorations in Crookwell for twelve years. They have set up four rooms in their house which their 5 grand children and 9 grand children have enjoyed over the years. This year they decided to open their home and spread the festive cheer for a good cause.

They have already spent three weeks setting up their displays and will be busy until the first weekend on the 9th and 10th December from 4pm until 8pm. The second weekend will include 16th and 17th December from 4-8pm. Entry will be a gold coin donation which will go to Can Assist. Santa and carol singers are expected to make an appearance.

Lucky dips and Christmas crafts will be available for the children. Some decorations will be available for sale. Whether you are young or old get along to see this wonderful exhibition and support Can Assist. A big thank you to Norm and Joan for allowing us into your home to enjoy the absolute dedication that you put into your displays.
