Bunyip Pre-School will be celebrating 50 years of operations when the education centre commences celebrations this weekend. A cocktail party will be held at the Mechanic’s Institute in Harden on Saturday night with tickets set at $50. Canapes, entertainment and a live auction will be enjoyed with money raised going towards a community scooter track. Binalong street will be closed in Bunyip’s block on Sunday

where the school will hold the 50 year party. Activities will include bobbing for apples, duck hooking, photo booth, pick a box, gumboot throwing, jumping castle, face painting and a special animal petting zoo. There will be plenty to eat and drink including hot spuds, donuts, ice cream stand, coffee van, bbq and pulled pork and slaw rolls. The day commences at 9am with a tour through Bunyip at 10am. A special performance will be held at 11am by local students and groups. Family fun games will start at midday before the 50 year cake will be cut at 1:30pm. All welcome.
