Ben Davis is known for his defensive prowess, however, his ball running was a feature in Sunday’s clash. Davis went in for a try during the only part of the day when the Sun was out. Later in the day snow fell during the First Grade match.

The Harden Hawks Youth League side qualified for the George Tooke Grand Final today, after they defeated Crookwell 40-22 in a solid display of their potential.

Pat Smith scored a treble, whilst Ben Davis scored a double. The Stanley combination of Jack and Will each added a try, with the Hawks outscoring their opponents 7 tries to 4.

Ryan Daley kicked 4 from 5 conversions while Will Stanley slotted 2 goals.

The Hawk’s will have a week off before they take on the winner of  the Crookwell v North Canberra Bears match at Crookwell on September 9
