Harden’s Pere Williams sends the Crookwell Centre flying after a big collision.

The Harden Hawks First Grade side came agonisingly close to securing a home Grand Final on September 9, going down by 1 solitary point in extra time on Sunday at Crookwell.

Rain and then snow fell during the First Grade match which saw both sides locked on 24 points at the conclusion of the game.

Extra time was required with two 5 minute halves played.

Harden had a chance to break the deadlock with an attempt at a field goal going astray.

Crookwell made their way down to Harden’s try line with the help of a penalty and kicked a field goal with under a minute left on the clock to secure a home Grand Final on September 9.
