In planning for the 12th Harden Kite Festival organisiers are seeking community groups, organisations, clubs and volunteers to be part of the fun that will take place on Saturday 14th October 2017. Harden Kite Festival Committee are seeking as many local individuals, community groups and businesses as possible to nurture the community spirit and ensure the economic benefits of the festival day are channelled locally.

With over 2,500 attendees each year small businesses or group organisations are sure to benefit. Here’s how your group, organisation or club can be involved. – Food or market stall – Showcase Local Produce, art, craft or goods. – Activity Stall – Pass the footy, Beat the Goalie. Tailor to your group and not only promote, but profit. – Promote your group, organisation or club with a presence on the day – Nearly 70% of attendees were from the Hilltops region and the remainder travelled 1-2 hours.

The Committee is also seeking manpower to assist with collection of gold coin entry, assist with parking and assist with set up and or pack up from 4pm on event day.
