Matthew Holmes will be bringing a slice of Hollywood to Jugiong from the 6th to the 8th of September 2014. The talented Melbourne base director will be filming part of his new movie “The Legend of Ben Hall” in Jugiong.

Cast and crew will spend three days in Jugiong filming the scenes which will depict the story of Jugiong’s own hero Sgt Edmund Parry. Holmes believes this to be an important and telling tale of the story of the “Hall Gang”. Check it out at www.facebook.com/benhallshortfilm .

The exciting part is that Matthew will need our help in this saga. On Monday the 8th of September the film maker will require up to 30 volunteers (of all ages) to play extras in a scene of the movie. His crew will supply the costumes so he just needs you.

Horses and horse drawn vehicles will also be required for the day, so register your interest if you can help out. If you wish to be a part of this exciting adventure please contact Wes Leseberg from the Gold Trails Re-enactment Group via email at wjleseberg@gmail.com. Remember no acting experience is required. Just come along to experience a little taste of Hollywood.
