The Hydrotherapy Pool is set to re-open on 5 May under the management of physiotherapist Mylan Quach of Young.

Interest has already been high, with prospective patients seeking out Mylan and already enquiring about bookings.

Mylan said she is looking forward to the opening and that she will be treating all sorts of ailments including arthritis, neurological problems, back and shoulder pain, pre-operation strengthening of joints and rehabilitation of injuries, fractures and tendon repairs, balance and co-ordination and improved mobility.

Mylan said that she will initially be open for 2 days a week and will be looking to increase those days to 3 to 4 as soon as patient numbers warrant it.

Mylan is a highly-experienced physiotherapist and has worked in Orange, Darwin and Singapore over her 15 year career.

She would like to thank the Kruger Trust and the Harden Shire Council for the assistance provided to her in re-opening the facility and taking over the management.

She went on to say that the community will need to support the centre for it to be viable, and that patients from outside of the Harden area will be needed to keep patient numbers at the optimal level for operations to be sustainable.
