Two local Hennessy students, Clancy Potts and Christopher Fredericks, were recently chosen by their school to be a part of the school’s new social justice initiative, which will involve 40 Year 10 and 11 students travelling to Cambodia.

Whilst there, the cohort will construct two homes for two impoverished Cambodian families, as well as other initiatives, that aim to help them understand the lives of those who lack the good fortune possessed by those in our nation.

The 2 students will be holding a barbeque, kindly hosted by Harden Supa IGA, on Saturday 22 March from 10am, with all funds raised being used to obtain materials to be utilised for the construction of the two homes.

Any and all support offered by the local community would be greatly appreciated.
