Steve Rowan raised $1500 by having his head and beard shaved for Shave for a Cure at the Harden Country Club on Friday night.
Steve wanted to take part in the venture to give back to the community. His motivation for being involved was that his family had been free of serious illness and had been fortunate not to be touched by cancer.
Steve said donations can still be made online until the end of the month.
