Les Graham has for years been the strength of the Murrumburrah-Harden RSL Sub-Branch.

Les worked tirelessly with his wife Cathy (a member of the Women’s Auxiliary), in both fundraising and executive duties, especially to try and save the Sub-Branch from folding and becoming a chapter of the Cootamundra
Sub-Branch.

Les has been a member of the Murrumburrah-Harden Sub-Branch since 1985, and served as President from 1995 until 2011.

Les also served with the South-West District Council, and held the position of President from February 1998 until May 2001.

Les’ family has a long history of military service, with 2 sons serving: Allen 16 years in the Navy; Scott 32 years in the Army, reaching the rank of WO1.

Les is an Honorary member of the  Armour Corps. He has also given  distinguished service to the greater community as well as the RSL. His name is held in high esteem among a number of charitable groups and, as a reward for his service to the broader community, he was awarded the  prestigious and highly-valued Paul Harris Award by the Rotary Club.

Les was awarded the Citizen of the Year Award in 1999 by the Harden Shire Council. Les is a Justice of the Peace, Number 111260.

We highly recommend this devoted member for his distinguished service to the RSL, as well as the local community.
